- Preferred Date
- Preferred Time

Examples include but are not limited to: Additional cartons, additional furniture, additional labour requirement, closed or non-functional lift, extra floors, narrow staircase, longer carrying distance, additional pickup/drop locations, undisclosed heavy items.
The Customer may either accept the revised quotation or cancel the booking. Moveora shall not be liable for any inconvenience arising from incorrect information supplied by the Customer.
4. Website Booking & Electronic Acceptance
Bookings made through the official Moveora website shall be considered legally valid once submitted by the Customer.
Acceptance of Estimate, Quotation, Invoice, or Booking Confirmation through WhatsApp, Email, SMS, Website, Digital Signature or UPI Payment shall constitute valid electronic acceptance under the Information Technology Act, 2000.
The Customer confirms that all information submitted through digital channels is true and accurate. Providing false information may result in cancellation of the booking without liability on Moveora.
5. Pricing & Estimates
Every quotation shared by Moveora is an estimate unless expressly stated to be a fixed quotation. Prices are calculated based upon estimated volume, vehicle size, distance, labour requirement, packing material, service requested, accessibility and time requirement.
Any variation in actual work may lead to revision of charges. Moveora shall always communicate revised charges before proceeding with additional work.
6. Additional Charges
Waiting Charges
Waiting exceeding 30 minutes due to Customer-related reasons may attract additional charges (e.g. keys unavailable, Customer absent, society permission pending, lift unavailable, security clearance pending, payment delay).
Staircase Charges
If the lift is unavailable, non-functional or cannot be used for shifting, additional staircase handling charges may apply depending upon number of floors, weight of goods and labour required.
Long Carry Charges
If the vehicle cannot be parked close to the premises and goods need to be carried manually over an unusually long distance, additional long-carry charges may apply.
Additional Labour Charges
If the quantity of goods exceeds the inventory declared during booking and additional manpower is required, corresponding labour charges shall apply.
Packing Material Charges
Extra cartons, bubble wrap, stretch film, foam sheets, wooden crates, corrugated sheets or any additional packing material requested by the Customer shall be charged separately unless already included in the quotation.
Parking, Toll & Entry Charges
Parking fees, toll charges, society entry charges, municipal fees or similar expenses shall be borne by the Customer unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Dismantling & Installation Charges
Furniture dismantling, reassembly, appliance installation, TV mounting, AC dismantling or installation and similar specialised services shall be charged separately unless included in the original quotation.
7. Customer Responsibilities
The Customer agrees to fully cooperate with Moveora to enable safe, timely and efficient completion of the Services.
7.1 Accurate Information
Provide complete and accurate information regarding quantity of goods, pickup and delivery address, building floor, lift availability, heavy items, fragile items, appliances, parking restrictions, society rules, and narrow passages or access limitations. Failure to disclose material information may result in revised pricing, delays or cancellation of the Service.
7.2 Presence During Service
The Customer or an authorised representative above the age of 18 years shall remain present at both pickup and delivery locations throughout the Service. Moveora shall not be responsible for delays caused by the Customer's absence.
7.3 Inventory Verification
The Customer shall verify all Goods before loading begins and again immediately after unloading. Any discrepancy should be reported before the Business's team leaves the delivery location. Failure to inspect the Goods at delivery may affect subsequent claims.
7.4 Valuable Items
Customers are strongly advised to personally carry cash, jewellery, gold & silver, precious stones, watches, mobile phones, laptops, important documents, passports, cheque books, property papers, educational certificates, medicines, firearms (where legally permitted), and any irreplaceable personal belongings. Moveora shall not be responsible for loss of such items unless specifically declared, documented and accepted in writing.
7.5 Society Permissions
The Customer shall obtain all necessary permissions including society NOC, lift booking, entry pass, parking permission and security clearance. Any waiting time resulting from absence of permissions may attract additional charges.
7.6 Packing by Customer
If Goods are packed by the Customer, Moveora shall not be liable for damage resulting from poor packing, weak cartons, improper sealing, or inadequate cushioning.
7.7 Prohibited Goods
Customers shall not hand over any prohibited Goods described under Clause 16.
8. Business Responsibilities
Moveora shall perform the Services with reasonable skill, care and diligence, including safe handling of goods, reasonable care during loading, transportation using suitable vehicles, careful unloading, professional behaviour and timely communication.
Moveora shall make reasonable efforts to minimise damage, delays and inconvenience. However, no transportation service can guarantee zero risk.
9. Packing Standards
Where packing services are booked, Moveora shall use suitable packing materials depending upon the nature of the Goods — including corrugated boxes, bubble wrap, stretch film, foam sheets, packing paper, cartons, edge protectors, and wooden crates (where applicable).
The choice of packing material shall remain at Moveora's discretion unless otherwise agreed. Customers requesting premium packing materials shall bear additional charges.
10. Delivery Timelines
Any delivery date or time communicated by Moveora is an estimate only. Moveora shall make every reasonable effort to adhere to scheduled timings. However, delivery schedules may change due to traffic congestion, vehicle breakdown, weather conditions, road closures, police restrictions, festivals, government orders, natural disasters, labour shortages, or previous service overruns.
Such delays shall not constitute breach of contract. Moveora shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from delayed delivery.
11. Waiting Time
If loading or unloading cannot commence because of Customer-related reasons, Moveora may levy waiting charges after the initial 30 minutes (e.g. Customer not available, lift occupied, building permission pending, security clearance, payment disputes, locked premises). Waiting charges shall be communicated before continuing the Service.
12. Vehicle Breakdown
While Moveora maintains its vehicles responsibly, unforeseen mechanical failures may occasionally occur. In such situations, Moveora shall make reasonable efforts to arrange an alternate vehicle at the earliest opportunity, and Customers shall be informed promptly. Delays arising solely from unavoidable mechanical failure shall not entitle the Customer to claim compensation for indirect or consequential losses.
13. Third-Party Labour & Contractors
Moveora may engage trained employees, temporary labour, subcontractors or logistics partners to perform all or part of the Services. Such engagement shall not reduce Moveora's responsibility for coordinating the booked Service. However, Moveora shall not be liable for acts of independent third parties outside its reasonable control.
14. Right to Refuse or Suspend Service
Moveora reserves the right to refuse, suspend or terminate the Service without liability where the working environment is unsafe, the Customer behaves abusively or threatens staff, illegal goods are discovered, material information was intentionally concealed, payment terms are not honoured, government authorities prohibit continuation of work, or the Service cannot be performed safely.
If the Service has already commenced, charges shall be payable for work completed up to that point.
15. Customer Conduct
The Customer shall ensure that Business personnel are treated respectfully, no abusive, threatening or violent behaviour occurs, alcohol or drugs do not interfere with the Service, and children and pets remain safely away from operational areas.
Moveora reserves the right to withdraw personnel if staff safety is compromised. Any additional costs arising from such withdrawal shall be recoverable from the Customer.
16. Prohibited Goods
The following Goods shall not be accepted unless expressly agreed in writing: illegal substances, narcotics, firearms, ammunition, explosives, hazardous chemicals, toxic materials, corrosive substances, flammable liquids, LPG cylinders (unless emptied and legally transportable), live animals, perishable food items, counterfeit goods, stolen property, and any Goods prohibited under Indian law.
Moveora reserves the absolute right to refuse transportation of such Goods without any liability.
17. Insurance
Insurance is not included by default unless expressly stated in the quotation or invoice. Customers transporting valuable household or office goods are strongly advised to opt for insurance coverage.
Where insurance is purchased through Moveora, claims shall be governed by the applicable insurer's policy terms, conditions, exclusions and claim procedures. Customers shall accurately declare the value of the Goods before commencement of the Service. Failure to declare the correct value may reduce or invalidate insurance coverage.
18. Liability for Loss or Damage
Moveora shall exercise reasonable skill, care and diligence while providing the Services. However, transportation of Goods inherently involves certain risks.
18.1 Insured Goods
Where insurance has been purchased, liability shall be determined in accordance with the insurance policy.
18.2 Uninsured Goods
Where insurance has not been purchased, Moveora's liability for accidental physical damage shall be limited to ₹2,000 per individual item or the depreciated market value of the item, whichever is lower, unless a higher declared value has been accepted in writing before commencement of the Service.
18.3 Excluded Items
Moveora shall not be liable for loss or damage relating to cash, currency, jewellery, gold & silver, precious stones, watches, negotiable instruments, credit/debit cards, passports, government documents, share certificates, educational certificates, property papers, confidential documents, digital wallets, cryptocurrency devices, data storage devices, or business records — unless specifically declared and accepted in writing.
18.4 Fragile Goods
Fragile items including glass, mirrors, marble, granite, ceramic articles, crockery, crystal items, and decorative pieces shall be transported entirely at the Customer's risk unless professional packing has been specifically booked through Moveora.
18.5 Customer Packed Goods
Moveora shall not be responsible for damage caused due to improper packing by the Customer, weak cartons, loose packing, overloaded boxes, or hidden defects.
18.6 Electronic Appliances
Moveora will take reasonable care while transporting electronic appliances. However, Moveora does not guarantee their operational functionality after transportation, as internal electronic damage may occur due to age, vibration, manufacturing defects or pre-existing conditions that are not externally visible.
18.7 Pre-existing Damage
Moveora shall not be responsible for any existing scratches, dents, cracks, stains or other damage present before commencement of the Service. Where reasonably possible, photographs may be taken before transportation for record purposes.
18.8 Consequential Losses
Moveora shall not be liable for loss of business, loss of income, delay penalties, hotel expenses, rental expenses, mental distress, emotional loss, loss of opportunity, or any indirect or consequential damages arising from delay, damage or non-performance — except where required under applicable law.
19. Claims Procedure
Customers shall inspect all Goods immediately after delivery.
Visible Damage
Visible damage must be reported before the Business's team leaves the delivery location.
Hidden Damage
Hidden damage shall be reported within 48 hours by WhatsApp or Email, along with photographs, videos (where available), invoice, and a description of the damage. Claims submitted after 48 hours may not be entertained unless required by applicable law.
Moveora shall acknowledge eligible claims within 7 working days, and shall endeavour to resolve claims within 15 working days after receiving all required information.
20. Cancellation & Rescheduling
Customers may cancel or reschedule bookings at least 12 hours before the scheduled service without cancellation charges. Where cancellation occurs within 12 hours or after manpower or vehicles have already been arranged, Moveora may deduct reasonable expenses already incurred.
Advance Payment
Advance payments shall be refunded after deducting applicable cancellation charges. Refunds shall ordinarily be processed within 7–10 business days, depending on the original payment method.
Business Cancellation
Moveora reserves the right to reschedule or cancel a booking due to extreme weather, floods, government orders, labour emergency, vehicle breakdown, natural disaster, or force majeure. Where Moveora cancels before commencement of Service, any advance received shall be refunded in full or adjusted against a mutually agreed future booking.
21. Payment Terms
Payment shall become due immediately upon completion of the Service unless otherwise agreed in writing. Accepted payment methods include UPI, cash, NEFT, IMPS, bank transfer and other approved digital payment methods.
Moveora reserves the right to retain possession of Goods, where legally permissible, until outstanding dues are cleared. Late payments may attract reasonable recovery costs and interest where permitted by law.
22. Customer Verification at Delivery
Before Moveora personnel leave the delivery location, the Customer shall inspect all Goods, verify inventory, check fragile articles, and confirm receipt. Once delivery has been acknowledged without objection, subsequent claims may be accepted only in accordance with Clause 19.
23. Limitation of Liability
Except where prohibited under applicable law, Moveora's maximum aggregate liability arising out of any booking shall not exceed the total Service Charges actually paid by the Customer for that booking. No employee, labourer, driver or representative of Moveora shall have any personal liability towards the Customer.
24. Privacy & Data Protection
Moveora respects the privacy of its Customers and is committed to protecting personal information. The Business may collect Customer name, mobile number, email address, pickup & delivery addresses, photographs of goods, payment details (excluding confidential banking credentials), booking history, and communication records — for the purpose of processing bookings, customer support, route planning, service execution, claims handling, legal compliance and internal quality improvement.
Moveora shall not sell or rent Customer data to third parties. Information may be shared only with Business employees, drivers, labour teams, logistics partners, insurance companies, or government authorities where required by law.
Moveora implements reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect Customer information. However, no electronic transmission or storage system is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
25. Website Usage
By accessing or using the Moveora website, the Customer agrees not to provide false or misleading information, not to misuse the enquiry or booking forms, not to attempt unauthorized access to the website or its systems, not to upload malicious software, viruses or harmful code, and not to interfere with the operation or security of the website.
Moveora reserves the right to suspend or block access to users engaging in fraudulent or unlawful activities.
26. Intellectual Property
All content available on the Moveora website — including logo, brand name, text, graphics, images, icons, layout, service descriptions, photographs, videos, and website design — is the intellectual property of Moveora or its licensors and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws.
No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission from Moveora.
27. Fraudulent Bookings
Moveora reserves the right to reject or cancel any booking if it reasonably believes that false information has been provided, payment is fraudulent, the booking is made for unlawful purposes, the Customer has previously abused or threatened Business personnel, or there is suspected identity theft or impersonation. Moveora may report fraudulent activity to the appropriate law enforcement authorities.
28. Indemnity
The Customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Moveora, its owners, employees, drivers, labourers, agents and contractors from and against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses arising out of breach of these Terms, incorrect information provided by the Customer, transportation of prohibited Goods, violation of applicable laws by the Customer, injury or damage caused by unsafe conditions at the Customer's premises, or third-party claims resulting from the Customer's actions or omissions.
29. Force Majeure
Moveora shall not be liable for any delay, interruption or failure in performance resulting from events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, floods, earthquakes, cyclones, fire, war, terrorist acts, riots, strikes, lockouts, government restrictions, court orders, epidemics or pandemics, severe traffic disruptions, vehicle breakdowns, fuel shortages, power failures, internet or communication failures, or any other unforeseen event beyond the Business's reasonable control.
Moveora shall make reasonable efforts to resume or reschedule the Service at the earliest practicable opportunity.
30. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. Subject to the rights available to consumers under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Thane, Maharashtra.
31. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable by a competent court or authority, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
32. Waiver
Failure by Moveora to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or of any other rights available under these Terms or applicable law.
33. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with any quotation, invoice, booking confirmation and written communications exchanged between the Customer and Moveora, constitute the entire agreement relating to the Services and supersede any prior verbal or written discussions concerning the same booking.
34. Amendments
Moveora reserves the right to amend or update these Terms at any time. The version published on the official website at the time of booking shall apply to that booking. Customers are encouraged to review the Terms periodically.
